Unilang is a musical performance duet which explores the evolution of consciousness and future creation of a universal language: Unilang. In the summer of 1988 Pamela Consulo and I travelled to Europe with a boom box and a lot of cameras. Our intention was to be street performance artists and make a documentary on the European street art scene. Starting  humbly and naively in the streets of Amsterdam we worked Unilang across much of northern Europe, performing in cafes, festivals and theaters in Paris, Holland, Belgium and Berlin.  Along our journey we recorded the life and times of artists we encountered and captured the last summer in Berlin before the wall fell. Over 20 hours of video, many feet of Super 8 film and hundreds of photos have been edited into a documentary: "Unilang: The Documentary."
